Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced ASIC Engineering Director & Site Leader to establish and lead the Krakow ASIC organization. You will build a high-performing team, set the engineering strategy, and drive verification, front-end design, and integration efforts for complex communication SoCs and test platforms in Krakow.

You will partner with cross-functional teams across software, firmware, RF/mixed-signal, and physical design, ensuring successful tape-out, lab operations, and silicon bring-up

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in ASIC/SoC development.
• 8+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proven track record delivering tape-outs.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Establish, lead, and grow the Krakow ASIC engineering organization with focus on verification and expansion into front-end design and architecture.
• Define and execute technical strategy, staffing, and development roadmap.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineering managers and senior staff.
• Lead ASIC development from requirements through tape-out and silicon bring-up.
• Ensure robust verification planning, coverage, and sign-off across blocks and SoCs.
