Job summary

Joyteractive in Poland is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead the Picture Blast Solitaire team. You will shape the visual language, UX feel, and overall art direction for a mobile puzzle game, collaborating closely with product and development.

You will review visuals, create a style guide, plan improvements, and lead an art team across tasks, animations, and VFX, ensuring high-quality assets and smooth integration into Unity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in game development as Art Director or Lead.
• Portfolio showing visuals for mobile casual games.
• Deep expertise in 2D art, UI/UX, and game feel.
• Experience leading an art team and hiring artists.
• Experience with mobile UI readability on small screens.
• Experience integrating animation and VFX in Unity.
• Familiarity with AI tools in art production.

Responsibilities

• Review visuals and UX; prepare prioritized improvements.
• Improve game feel with animations and feedback.
• Create and maintain style guide.
• Develop visual style and variants for A/B tests.
• Lead the art team; set tasks and review work.
• Review UX flows, interfaces, and animations.
• Contribute to feature development's visual/UX side.
• Review and approve visual assets.
• Check visuals in builds on devices; set fixes.
