Job summary

Joyteractive Limited, a leading mobile game developer and publisher, is seeking an experienced Art Director to join the Picture Blast Solitaire team. The role blends art, UX and game feel, working closely with product team.

You will review visuals, guide the art team, define style guides, and shape the visual direction for new features across iOS and Android while maintaining high production standards.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in 2D art, UI/UX and game feel for mobile games.
• Experience leading an art team: setting tasks, reviewing work, hiring, developing artists.
• Experience with mobile casual projects where visuals and game feel are key.

Responsibilities

• Review the current visuals and UX of the project and prepare a prioritized improvement plan.
• Improve game feel: animations, feedback on player actions, satisfying moments at key points of gameplay.
• Create and maintain the game’s style guide: palette, UI elements, fonts, rules for animations and effects.
• Develop the game’s visual style, including major changes and variants for A/B tests.
• Lead the art team: set tasks, review work, give feedback, support growth.
• Set tasks for and review UX flows and interfaces.
• Set tasks for animations and VFX, review and accept results in the build.
• Take part in new feature development from the concept stage: the visual and UX side and its integration.
• Review and approve all visual assets before they go into the game.
• Check visuals in the build on devices and set fix tasks for the development team.
