Job summary

Sopra Steria in Katowice is seeking an Application Operations Technician to support a Norwegian client. The role requires commuting to the Katowice office for a full-time on-site position in the Silesian region.

You will act as the primary technical resource, handle incidents, coordinate with owners and cross-functional teams, and manage migrations and lifecycle activities in hybrid cloud environments. Strong Windows Server experience and ITIL fundamentals are valued.

Qualifications

Experience managing enterprise applications in hybrid environments (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP, On-prem).
Understanding of application operations, architecture, and integrations.
Strong Windows Server administration experience.
Experience with migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical resource for one or more business-critical applications.
Handle operational issues, incidents, and technical support for applications and users.
Coordinate activities with Application Owners, Service Owners, and cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot complex application-related issues and ensure service stability.
Plan and execute application migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
Manage and optimize enterprise applications in hybrid environments (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP, On-prem).
Monitor application performance and drive continuous service improvements.
