Job summary

Sopra Steria in Katowice is seeking an Application Operations Technician to support a Norwegian client. The role requires commuting to the Katowice office for a full-time on-site position in the Silesian region.

You will act as the primary technical resource, handle incidents, coordinate with owners and cross-functional teams, and manage migrations and lifecycle activities in hybrid cloud environments. Strong Windows Server experience and ITIL fundamentals are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise applications in hybrid environments (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP, On-prem).
• Understanding of application operations, architecture, and integrations.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience.
• Experience with migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent).

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Application Operations Technician to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that cooperates with one of our Norwegian clients. Note that we can only offer cooperation to people are located in Silesian area and are willing to commute to our office in Katowice.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical resource for one or more business-critical applications.

Must have requirements

• Experience managing and supporting enterprise applications in hybrid environments (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP, On-prem).
• Understanding of application operations, application architecture, and integrations.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server environments and administration.
• Experience with application migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with multiple technology teams and business stakeholders.
• ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent experience).
• English B1-B2 level.

Nice to have requirements

• AZ-800 & AZ-801: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
• AZ-104 Azure Administrator (or equivalent AWS/GCP/OCI certification)
• AZ-400, AZ-305, or AZ-140 certifications.
