Westinghouse in Krakow is seeking a Specialist - Application Integration to install, configure, and deploy applications within the Westinghouse portfolio. You will be the technical administrator for supported applications, reporting to the GIC Tools and Applications Supervisor.

The team operates in a hybrid model with two days per week at the Krakow office and requires strong English communication, solid documentation skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of proven support in a complex application environment.

The Specialist - Application Integration is a key role in delivering application installation, configuration, and deployment services for various applications at Westinghouse. The primary area of responsibility for this position will be a technical administrator of applications in the Westinghouse portfolio.

You will report to GIC Tools and Applications Supervisor. The team works in a hybrid model, with two days per week based at the Krakow office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team's ticket queue to resolve incidents and perform operational tasks. Generally, act as the initial point of contact for related issues and concerns from clients and employees.
• Support the configuration, maintenance, and administration of custom developed and COTS software.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles for supported applications.
• Create documentation for all procedures and systems.
• Support patches and deployments, and control and monitor user access to applications.
• Collaborate with the Tools and Applications team for support and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Information Technology teams for enterprise level support.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, best practices and process standardizations.
• The primary duties of this position occur during business hours; however, there is some evening work related to projects, planned maintenance, and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of proven support in a complex application environment.
• Critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information.
• Ability to fully document application installations, configurations and related project or systems-level documentation.
• Ability to interact effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, and management to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and ensure stakeholder buy‑in.
• Written and verbal skills in the English language.
• Ability to work independently or in teams on assigned tasks with a high degree of technical judgment.
• Experience executing areas of purchased and custom application configuration, deployment, and support.
• Familiarity with application architectures (e.g., client-server, web-based, Citrix).
• Familiarity with a variety of technology sets in OS (Windows or Linux), web server (IIS, Apache Tomcat, or WebLogic), and database (Oracle or SQL Server).

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 7,333 to 9,133 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
