Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Specialist - Application Integration to install, configure, and deploy applications within our portfolio. You will act as a technical administrator, reporting to the GIC Tools and Applications Supervisor, in a hybrid setting with two days per week at the Krakow office.

Responsibilities include incident handling, patching, documentation, and collaboration with IT teams to ensure enterprise-level support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of proven support in a complex application environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to analyze information.
• Ability to document installations, configurations and related project or systems-level documentation.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients, peers, and management to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
• Written and verbal skills in English.
• Ability to work independently or in teams on assigned tasks with technical judgement.
• Experience with configuration, deployment and support of purchased and custom applications.
• Familiarity with OS (Windows or Linux), web servers (IIS, Apache Tomcat, WebLogic), and databases (Oracle or SQL Server).

The Specialist - Application Integration is a key role in delivering application installation, configuration, and deployment services for various applications at Westinghouse. The primary area of responsibility for this position will be a technical administrator of applications in the Westinghouse portfolio. You will report to GIC Tools and Applications Supervisor. The team works in a hybrid model, with two days per week based at the Krakow office.

• Support the configuration, maintenance, and administration of custom developed and COTS software.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles for supported applications.

• Support patches and deployments, and controlling and monitoring user access to applications.
• Collaborate with the Tools and Applications team for support and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Information Technology teams for Enterprise level support.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, best practices and process standardizations.
• The primary duties of this position occur during business hours, however there is some evening work related to projects, planned maintenance, and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of proven support in a complex application environment.
• Critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information.
• Ability to fully document application installations, configurations and related project or systems-level documentation.
• Ability to interact effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, and management to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
• Written and verbal skills in the English language.
• Ability to work independently or in teams on assigned tasks with a high degree of technical judgment.
• Experience executing areas of purchased and custom application configuration, deployment, and support.
• Familiarity with application architectures (e.g. client-server, web-based, Citrix).
• Familiarity with a variety of technology sets in OS (Windows or Linux), web server (IIS, Apache Tomcat, or WebLogic), and database (Oracle or SQL Server).

Compensation

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 7,333 to 9,133 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
