Job summary

PwC Poland is seeking an AP Accountant with German in a project environment to support domestic and international clients. You will process transactions, manage end-to-end accounts payable, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

You will work in a hybrid model with strong Excel and ERP system usage, collaborating with teams and contributing to process improvements and KPI attainment.

Qualifications

• English and German proficiency for professional communication.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience including verification and reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivots and data analysis for reporting and optimization.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics ERP systems.
• Experience onboarding new clients or supporting service rollouts in finance.
• Knowledge of AI-based tools used to assist daily work.

Responsibilities

• Process all transactions and documents for designated accounting processes.
• Handle end-to-end invoice management, verification, PO matching, coding, and payments.
• Monitor accounts payable, verify unusual expenses, and assist forecasting.
• Collaborate within the accounting team to resolve issues and onboard new members.
• Meet SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Identify and propose process improvements and lean initiatives.
