Job summary

Luxoft Germany is seeking a senior Android/C++ engineer to develop and maintain Android applications and native C++ integration layers for video collaboration devices. The role involves implementing new features, refining architecture, and maintaining existing solutions across Android and native components.

You will design and extend the JNI boundary, collaborate with CV/ML researchers and C++ engineers, and ensure efficient IPC and real-time video processing on Android hardware.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience in system or framework implementation.
• Strong Android app development experience (Java and/or Kotlin).
• Proven native C++ development with C++11+ and JNI, plus Git experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Android apps (Java/Kotlin) surfacing CV/ML features.
• Extend JNI integration between Android and native C++20 libraries.
• Collaborate with CV/ML researchers and C++ engineers to expose algorithms.
• Design IPC interfaces and optimize multi-threaded video pipelines on Android.
• Write unit and integration tests for Android and native layers.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
