Job summary

Box Poland is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and own a reliable data foundation, with well-designed models and tested pipelines that scale.

You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts, shaping the semantic layer, enforcing data quality, and delivering workflows with Prefect or similar.

Strong SQL, dbt experience, and cloud warehousing in BigQuery or equivalents are key; join a team driving data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering or similar data role.
• Expert in SQL with ability to write and review complex queries.
• Hands-on with dbt or comparable transformation framework.
• Engineering discipline in analytics code: VCS, testing, CI.
• Experience with cloud data warehouse (BigQuery preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evolve data models and pipelines toward modular, documented layers.
• Define metrics modeling and governance, drive adoption.
• Uphold data modeling standards through code reviews and docs.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts on dataset design.
• Build and enforce data testing in CI, add observability.
• Diagnose upstream data issues with Data Engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain Prefect workflows for data and models.
