Selvita, a global integrated service provider with laboratories in Kraków, Poznań and Wrocław, is seeking an Analytical Specialist to join the Analytical Chemistry Team in Kraków. You will apply your expertise in HPLC and GC to support formulation development and analytical studies for agrochemical clients worldwide, spanning early development to regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Agrochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in analytical chemistry, agrochemistry, or a related field.
• Practical experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC/UHPLC/GC).
• Good command of English (B2 or higher) and communicative Polish skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC).
• Measure physicochemical parameters of active substances and formulations (pH, appearance, solubility, etc.).
• Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for analytical testing.
• Record analytical results and prepare technical reports.
• Conduct method validation studies and documentations.
• Collaborate with team members, cross-functional teams, and clients to interpret data and develop strategies.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

Due to the continued growth of our Agro Science business, we are looking for an experienced Analytical Specialist to join our Analytical Chemistry Team in Kraków.

In this role, you will apply your expertise in HPLC and GC techniques to support formulation development and analytical studies for leading agrochemical and biological crop protection companies worldwide. Working closely with international clients across Europe, the USA, and other global markets, you will contribute to projects spanning from early development through to regulatory dossier submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analyses using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC).
• Perform measurements of physicochemical parameters characterizing active substances and formulations, ranging from basic tests such as pH and appearance assessment to more advanced studies, including pKa determination and solubility testing.
• Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for analytical testing.
• Accurately record analytical results and prepare technical reports.
• Conduct method validation studies and prepare the associated documentation.
• Collaborate closely with team members, cross-functional teams, and clients to interpret analytical data and develop effective analytical strategies.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure reliable operation.

Your Background

• Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Agrochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in analytical chemistry, agrochemistry, or a related field, or a strong desire to build a career in analytical sciences.
• Practical experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC/UHPLC/GC).
• Experience in physicochemical testing of agrochemical active substances and formulations will be an asset.
• Good command of English (B2 or higher) and communicative Polish skills.
• Eagerness to learn and continuously develop technical and scientific expertise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
