Job summary

Selvita, a global CRO with facilities in Kraków, Poznań, and Wrocław, Croatia, and offices in the UK and US, invites applications for a Quality Control Specialist in the analytical chemistry team. You will contribute to Drug Discovery processes by performing QC tests and supporting method transfers in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.

The role requires a life sciences degree, 0–2 years’ lab experience, chromatography and spectrophotometry skills, and fluent English; Polish language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences (chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology or related fields).
• 0-2 years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with chromatography and spectrophotometric techniques.
• Excellent organization and planning skills with strong motivation.
• Fluent English and Polish communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests of pharmaceutical and bioanalytical products and starting materials.
• Develop, analyze, and register results per procedures.
• Plan and perform daily analyses.
• Support method transfers and related documentation.
• Maintain communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Performance of quality control tests of pharmaceutical and bioanalytical products and starting materials.


• Development, analysis, interpretation of the results and registration of them in accordance with applicable procedures.


• Planning and performing daily analysis.


• Participation in the transfer of methods together with the preparation of related documentation.


• Contact with the clients.

Your Background

• Completed university degree in life sciences: chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology or related fields.


• Experience in chromatography techniques (HPLC, UHPLC, GC).


• Experience in spectrophotometric techniques (UV-Vis, IR), dissolution, titration.


• Experience in working with MS would be an asset.


• 0-2 years of experience in laboratory work.


• High motivation with excellent organization and planning skills.


• Communication and team-working skills.


• Fluency in English.


• Communicative Polish
