Job summary

Selvita, a global integrated service provider with laboratories in Kraków, Poznań and Wrocław, seeks an Analytical Specialist to join the Kraków team. You will support drug discovery projects for biotech and pharma clients worldwide by applying HPLC methods.

The ideal candidate has a Life Sciences degree, up to 2 years of laboratory experience, English B2 and Polish, and a proactive approach. We offer development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• University degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy or related).
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience in analytical or pharmaceutical environment.
• Hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC/UHPLC) is an advantage.
• Good command of English (minimum B2) and Polish.
• Strong willingness to learn and expand professional knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and reagents for analysis.
• Record analysis results and prepare reports.
• Transfer and validate methods; prepare related documentation.
• Collaborate with biology team to interpret data and develop analysis strategies, and with clients.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

Due to ongoing development, we are currently seeking individuals with experience in analytical chemistry, specifically in the use of HPLC methods to join our Kraków team. As an Analytical Specialist in our analytical chemistry team, you will play a crucial role in Drug Discovery processes for biotech and pharma companies worldwide, including those from Europe, the USA, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and reagents for analysis.
• Accurately record analysis results and prepare reports.
• Conduct transfers and validations of methods, including the preparation of related documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the biology team to interpret data and develop analysis strategies, as well as with clients.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

Your Background

• University degree in Life Sciences, such as Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience in an analytical or pharmaceutical environment, or strong motivation to develop a career in analytical laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC/UHPLC) is an advantage.
• Good command of English (minimum B2) and communicative Polish.
• Strong willingness to learn, develop new skills, and continuously expand professional knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
