Job summary

State Street Kraków is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support collateral management, reporting, and client queries in a finance-driven environment.

You will reconcile balances, respond to margin calls, and help streamline processes while developing in a team-focused setting. English is essential; German is a plus and VBA knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduates from economics, finance
• Experience in a commercial environment such as banking, custody, insurance
• MS Office package with focus on Outlook and Excel
• German would be an advantage but is not a must
• Knowledge of OTC markets/ derivatives instruments or VBA would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Complete/ Review client reporting ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Answer margin calls and queries from different departments
• Reconcile collateral balances, investigate and solve discrepancies
• Review and document process flows/procedures and contribute new ideas/procedures to further streamline the operational process
• Be involved in departmental ad-hoc projects
• Be involved in the training and development of other team members
• Prepare monthly internal and external statistics
• Being a point of contact for routine/escalation queries raised by internal departments
• Support for team leader; prepare and plan workload

Collateral management focus is to reduce credit risk by exchanging eligible cash or securities between counterparties. Based on the agreements between our clients and the counterparties the Collateral team in Kraków ensures that all the exposures are fully collateralized and the agreed collateral transactions settle as agreed.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Note

The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office.

Minimum Salary

zł68,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
