Cavendish Professionals is hiring an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to join a fast-growing tech company building AI-powered products for global businesses. The role blends software development, AI, and technical delivery, with ownership across the full development lifecycle.
You will design and build production-grade AI solutions, integrate APIs and data sources, and drive projects from requirements to production in a dynamic setting.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ software engineering experience.
- Strong software architecture and system design knowledge.
- Experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong experience with APIs, integrations and distributed systems.
- Exposure to AI/LLMs, AI agents or automation.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to take significant end-to-end ownership.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop production-grade AI and software solutions
- Build integrations across APIs, data sources and third-party systems
- Take technical projects from initial requirements through to production
- Develop solutions involving AI/LLMs, automation and intelligent workflows
- Work across architecture, system design, testing and deployment
- Monitor and improve solutions once in production
- Collaborate with engineering, product and customer-facing teams
- Work directly with technical stakeholders to understand requirements and solve complex problems
