Job summary

Wonderful is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to turn complex enterprise workflows into AI agents that operate in real-world settings. You will embed with customer teams, uncover operational needs, and design production-ready systems that deliver tangible value.

From discovery to deployment, you’ll ship practical solutions, measure real-world impact, and iterate to improve outcomes. This role blends deep technical work with customer-facing delivery in dynamic enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building software or solving complex technical problems.
• Strong foundations in software architecture and production engineering.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers to understand workflows, constraints, and success measures.
• Turn loosely defined problems into clear technical plans and production systems.
• Design and build AI agents that integrate with customer tools, data, and processes.
• Own deployments from prototype through launch, monitoring, and improvement.
• Test with real-world data, measure outcomes, and iterate based on evidence.
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs across architecture, reliability, speed, and UX.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve the core platform.
• Turn deployment lessons into reusable tools and best practices.
