Job summary

emagine is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to develop robust AI applications in a remote-capable, B2B setup. The role requires close collaboration with data scientists and enterprise teams to ensure stable, scalable AI solutions across corporate IT environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AI/ML, strong English (C1) and willingness to travel monthly to Frankfurt. Proficiency with TensorFlow/PyTorch, Transformers, Python, and deployment is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional AI/ML experience; 10 years preferred.
• English language proficiency at C1 level for negotiations.
• Monthly travel availability to Frankfurt, Germany.
• Extensive experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Proficiency with Transformer models (Hugging Face, SpaCy).
• Experience with ML model architecture, deployment and evaluation (GANs, GPT).
• Proficient back-end development using Python.

Location: remote

Business travels: once a month trip to Frankfurt

Summary: This role focuses on developing and optimizing AI applications and data architectures to support machine learning models effectively within corporate IT environments, ensuring their stability and scalability.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop robust AI applications in collaboration with data scientists.


• Design and implement reliable, sustainable AI-based solutions.


• Assess performance of existing AI applications and identify bottlenecks.


• Coach AI teams and mentor traditional application teams for better alignment with enterprise AI strategy.


• Support research and evolution of AI enterprise architecture.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience (10 years preferred).


• Fluent English (C1 level) capable of business negotiation standards.


• Monthly travel availability to Frankfurt am Main.


• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).


• Proficient with Transformer Models (Hugging Face, SpaCy).


• Experience with machine learning model architecture, deployment, and evaluation (e.g., GANs, GPT).
