Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Security EDR Workflows team. You will help build workflows and user-facing capabilities that connect to the Elastic Defend agent to protect and respond against security threats.

You will collaborate with security and product teams across the globe, implementing UI features, contributing to OSquery-based forensics, and delivering scalable, production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code while leveraging AI to accelerate

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and React.js.
• TypeScript is a plus.
• AI-powered development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Implement features that power Elastic Defend UI capabilities.
• Contribute to the architecture of Defend management and response actions with OSquery forensics.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Write production-grade code in TypeScript/Node.js as part of a high-quality, well-tested codebase.
• Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross-team efforts.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes driven by AI.
• Participate in code reviews and work with a globally distributed team.
