Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Platform Engineering Productivity leader to own CI/CD strategy and release infrastructure at scale. You will guide teams to build secure pipelines, prevent supply-chain incidents, and mentor engineers across multiple groups.

You will remain hands-on when needed, review code, prototype approaches, and drive architecture decisions that improve velocity and security across the org.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in CI/CD and hardening release pipelines against supply chain attacks.
• Strong debugging instincts across the full pipeline stack.

Responsibilities

• Define the roadmap and technical vision for CI/CD across environments.
• Identify bottlenecks, friction, or security risks and drive remediation.
• Design and enforce release gates for supply chain integrity and readiness at scale.
• Direct engineers on multi-quarter projects and own outcomes.
• Drive technical communication and documentation across teams.
• Serve as Incident Commander on high-severity supply chain or release incidents.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship.
• Remain hands-on at the right depth while leveraging the team's output.
