Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Software Engineer to build workflows and UI features for Elastic Defend, interfacing with OSquery forensics and SIEM capabilities. You will work with global teams to deliver robust, high-scale features from the Kibana perspective, using AI to accelerate development.

The role emphasizes collaboration across product and design, high-quality code, and enjoyment of solving complex security problems in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and ReactJS; Typescript is a plus.
• AI-powered development mindset and proactive collaboration across time zones.
• Willingness to engage in team meetings and provide feedback on code and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Implement features powering Elastic Defend user interface capabilities.
• Contribute to the architecture of Defend management and response actions.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node.js with a focus on quality.
• Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross-team efforts.
• Support engineering standards and tooling improvements driven by AI.
