Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to help build and evolve a large-scale React-based component library used across our global organization. You will focus on UI components, accessibility, and developer experience in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves collaborating with design and platform teams, using CSS-in-JS styling, Bazel tooling, and AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and WCAG standards.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Understanding of modern styling approaches including CSS-in-JS.
• Experience creating accessible, WCAG-compliant user interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reusable UI components used across multiple products.
• Enhance and support the component library, styling framework, and build tooling.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to components, theming, accessibility, and developer workflows.
• Collaborate closely with design and platform engineering teams to ensure alignment with design system standards and WCAG accessibility requirements.
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code and similar tools as an integral part of your daily development workflow.
• Design and implement UI-focused AI agent skills and contribute improvements to AI-assisted engineering processes.
• Drive best practices around testing, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
