Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Lead Frontend Software Engineer to steer the frontend architecture within the Engineering Platform team. You will lead the implementation of shared UI frameworks and design systems, mentor engineers, and solve complex frontend challenges at scale.

You will collaborate with architects, staff engineers, and product teams to evolve a modular, cloud-native UI ecosystem and empower hundreds of engineers to move faster with high-quality, accessible experiences across products.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of frontend development experience
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React expertise
• Experience building shared design systems and UI frameworks
• Familiarity with micro frontend architectures and scalable UI

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate technical vision for frontend architecture across platform teams
• Lead development of shared UI infrastructure and design system components
• Mentor engineers and drive architectural excellence through reviews and pair programming
• Collaborate with product, UX, and leadership to deliver scalable frontend capabilities
• Define standards for UI testing, accessibility, and performance optimization
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and documentation processes
