Job summary

IDT Corporation is seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer for UI CORE, overseeing a three-mid/senior mix team. You will drive technical direction, own the shared UI platform, and ensure production-grade frontend delivery across cloud infrastructure.

The role blends hands-on coding with team leadership and architectural collaboration, spanning frontend architectures, micro-frontends, and modern tooling. The ideal candidate has strong React experience, familiarity with migrating from Angular, and

Qualifications

Experience leading a small distributed frontend team, owning what the team builds and how.
Strong React; experience with legacy Angular and greenfield integration.
Own frontend delivery to production: builds, caching, CDN, releases, and production failure handling.
Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic tooling in codebases.
Comfortable running scrum for the team.
English language proficiency at least B1; team works in Russian, stakeholders in English.

Responsibilities

Provide technical direction for frontend apps and shared UI platform.
Deliver production-ready frontend apps across multiple production pods via CloudFront and Lambda@Edge.
Own the team's application template used by new projects.
Establish code review standards, manage technical debt, and uphold quality bar.
Oversee the team’s Scrum processes and coordinate with backend, platform, and product teams.
