Job summary

Shelf in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Frontend React Developer to own enterprise-grade frontend experiences for AI-powered products. You will design production Next.js applications with complex state, real-time AI interactions, and multiple enterprise features.

You will lead frontend architecture, build reusable components, and collaborate across teams. The role requires 5+ years, strong React/TypeScript skills, and a pragmatic ownership mindset in a fast-growing AI-native environment.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of frontend engineering experience, including React and TypeScript.
• Production Next.js experience with SSR apps at scale.
• Experience with complex state management and real-time AI interactions.
• Experience building AI/LLM interfaces and high-load performance work.
• Enterprise app depth, localization, accessibility, security, and compliance.
• Strong craft, product instinct, and clear written/verbal communication.
• AI-native working style with daily use of AI coding agents.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship production Next.js SSR applications with complex state and real-time AI interactions at scale.
• Build interfaces for AI-powered features like streaming responses and semantic search.
• Architect component libraries and maintain the design system for accessibility and consistency.
• Deliver enterprise-grade functionality including localization and security.
• Take ownership post-launch: monitor production, optimize performance, and ensure scalable growth.
• Maintain high code quality with testing, reviews, and mentorship.
