Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Capital Analytics & Solutions Associate within the Basel Measurement & Analytics (BM&A) team.

You will transform complex regulatory capital data into clear insights, supporting measurement and reporting processes across RWA, capital, and stress testing. You will work with large datasets, prototype analytical workflows, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while preserving governance and controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in finance, risk, data analysis or related analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain capital analytics models.
• Work with large datasets to uncover business insights.
• Build prototypes and workflows to improve capital reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear data definitions and controls.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and documentation while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with Product Controllers, Risk, Capital teams, Technology and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate results.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, reconciliation and process improvements.
