Job summary

ShipMonk is seeking an AI-focused internal technical consultant to identify AI opportunities across HR, Sales, Marketing and Operations, prototype quickly, and ship what works to production.

You will help the company become more AI-first by building data pipelines into Snowflake, crafting clean models in dbt, and delivering AI agents and automations that teams can rely on.

Collaborate with business users and leaders to scale AI across the organization while maintaining security and governance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI development experience with production deployment.
• Built data behind a product: at least one pipeline or data model relied on by users.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Familiar with deploying AI tools and enabling adoption by business users.
• Experience in product/startup environments and 3+ years in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Spot AI opportunities in business teams and turn vague asks into scoped projects.
• Prototype fast with AI coding tools, then deploy proven solutions.
• Build data pipelines into Snowflake and clean models in dbt.
• Ship AI solutions: agents, RAG assistants and automations with evals.
• Integrate with Slack, CRM, ticketing, n8n, MCP.
• Lead AI enablement: workshops, office hours and templates.
• Measure adoption and iterate.
