Job summary

ShipMonk in Prague is seeking an AI/Data Technical Consultant to shape our AI domain from the ground up. You’ll partner with HR, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to turn real business needs into practical AI-powered solutions, from scoping to production.

You’ll own projects end-to-end, balance technical complexity with business value, and advocate for cost-effective tooling. The role invites autonomy, direct access to leadership, and opportunities to mentor teams while delivering measurable

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Python and SQL, experience with analytical databases (Snowflake or similar).
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration (Airflow or similar).
• Ability to turn prototypes into production-ready solutions using AI and ML.
• Experience with AI frameworks and tooling (Pydantic AI, Langfuse, or alternatives) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape tools, processes, and bring real business value through data, and AI.
• Act as an internal consultant: talk to stakeholders, dig past the stated request, and figure out the real problem before building.
• Take full ownership - dig in, figure things out, and get them done.
• Design and implement AI projects from prototypes to production.
• Balance technical complexity with business impact, always with an eye on cost.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and leadership across departments.
• Explore and utilize our tech stack (and go beyond it when needed).
