Job summary

Nordea is seeking experienced AI & Cloud Engineers to join the Integration SRE team in Poland. You will design, build, and operate secure cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities, focusing on AI products.

The role involves creating reusable IaC patterns, enabling AI platforms, and ensuring compliance in a regulated banking environment. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and governance stakeholders to deliver scalable, observable cloud solutions and robust

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Advanced Kubernetes usage for container orchestration.
• Strong Terraform skills including modules, state handling, and promotion across environments.
• Practical IAM/security knowledge: least privilege, service accounts, secrets management.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Experience with AI technologies and AI-powered automation.
• Good English skills and ability to work in a regulated enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and improve infrastructure components on cloud platforms.
• Create reusable IaC modules for projects (networking, IAM, secrets, logging, monitoring, guardrails).
• Support secure cloud landing-zone patterns and environment isolation.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for provisioning, validation, testing, deployment and lifecycle management of platform components.
• Support AI platform enablement (e.g., Bedrock, Vertex, OpenAI).
• Develop observability with logging, monitoring, and dashboards; implement runbooks and production-readiness checks.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, governance and architecture teams to ensure security and compliance.
