Job summary

Aptiv Poland is seeking a prototype engineer to plan and prepare prototype samples, perform tests, and document results. You will ensure quality and maintain workshop equipment under tight deadlines.

The role requires a BSc in a technical field, good English, hands-on mechanical/electrical skills, and willingness to travel. You’ll work within Aptiv values and contribute to safe, innovative mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires BSc in a technical/science field.
• Good command of English.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical activities.
• Knowledge in electrical metrology.
• Strong MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare prototype samples; test and verify to determine optimal parameters.
• Prepare documents for prototype dispatch and reports as needed.
• Verify prototypes built by others and maintain related documentation.
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure quality of prototypes.

Your Role

Plan & prepare prototype samples in accordance with description from requestor Perform tests and verifications to determine optimal product parameters. Perform tests in accordance with customer specification / international standards / per requestor needs Preparation of documents for the dispatch of prototypes Prepare reports if needed & verify prepared by others, Verify quality of prototypes built by others Maintain documentation related to prototypes Maintain workshop equipment

Your background

BSc degree in technical of science area Good command of English Manual skills related to mechanical / electrical activities Knowledge in area of electrical metrology Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS Excel Working acc. to all Aptiv values Mobility / Willing to travel as required / Business trip on demands Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines Analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
