Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Warsaw seeks an actuarial data analyst to develop and maintain reserving tools, analyze results, and support quarterly closing and forecast processes.

You will work in an international, multicultural environment, travel internationally, and contribute to KPI reporting while collaborating with senior actuaries and a central team.

Qualifications

• Must have fluent written and verbal English.
• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Economics or a comparable quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and detailed-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining actuarial reserving and analysis tools.
• Analyzing data and results to ensure the quality of our financial statements.
• Supporting the central team during quarterly closing and forecast processes.
• Monitoring and reporting on reserving KPIs to senior actuaries and stakeholders.
• Participating in knowledge transfer and understanding dependencies for analyses.
• Preparing actuarial data and designing automation scripts when needed.

How you will get the job done

• developing and maintaining actuarial reserving and analysis tools
• analyzing data and results to ensure the quality of our financial statements
• supporting the central team during the quarterly closing and forecast processes
• monitoring and reporting on reserving KPIs to senior actuaries and other stakeholders
• participating in constant knowledge transfer, understanding dependencies to derive appropriate analyses approaches
• preparing relevant actuarial data and designing and developing automation scripts when needed

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• graduate degree in Mathematics, Economics or a comparable quantitative field
• excellent technical and analytical skills, structured way of thinking, logical and concise approach and high attention to detail
• high ability and willingness to understand technical as well as functional dependencies
• open-minded, proactive and well organized, with problem-solving abilities, capable of prioritizing workload and team player
• self-motivated and self-dependent, willingness to develop further
• high intercultural competency and willingness to travel internationally
• intrigued to work in an international environment
• advanced knowledge of the MS Office package

Nice to have

• actuarial qualification and work experience in local or international GAAP (IFRS4, IFRS17, Solvency II)
