Beiersdorf Poznań seeks an experienced finance professional to oversee financial accounting and closings for designated European entities. You will partner with the Finance Manager, ensuring close collaboration with local teams and regular on-site visits.

The role requires IFRS expertise, SAP 4HANA proficiency, and a proactive approach to standardize processes across the group. Three days per week on Beiersdorf Campus in Poznań with international project involvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance or related discipline.
• Fluent English and Czech? (as stated in profile)
• 3+ years in finance/accounting, with closing experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and SAP 4HANA proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Oversee financial accounting and closings for designated European Beiersdorf entities.
• Act as Business Partner to Finance Manager; coordinate with local organization and on-site visits.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per local regulations and IFRS.
• Manage cost center accounting and prepare statements of income per IFRS and group guidelines.
• Lead external service providers and liaise with auditors; oversee VAT reporting.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the financial accounting and closings of designated European Beiersdorf companies
• First point of contact ("Business Partner") for the Finance Manager of the respective affiliate in all financial accounting matters. This requires very close cooperation with the local organization, combined with regular on-site visits
• Coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and IFRS
• Cost center accounting and preparation of statements of income (SOI) in accordance with IFRS and group-specific guidelines
• Self-reliant analysis and documentation of accounts and financial statements
• Steering of external service providers and main contact for financial and tax auditors
• Monitoring and reporting of VAT transactions and contact person for questions related to VAT
• Pro-active development and standardization of accounting processes / accounting systems
• Participation in international projects

Your Profile

• Successfully completed professional education in accounting or a Bachelor/Master degree with focus on finance and accounting
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Czech
• 3+ years experience in finance and accounting, preferably with closing activities /financial statements
• Very good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Confident handling of SAP 4HANA and MS Office applications
• High sense of responsibility
• Result-orientation and assertiveness, especially in the application of international and Group standards

• Constant willingness for professional development
• Ability to work 3 days a week from our Beiersdorf Campus located in Poznań
