Job summary

Nexi Group in Rzeszów, Poland, is seeking an Accountant to join a collaborative, international team. You will verify financial documents, post invoices, and manage asset depreciation within a growing digital payments company.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in independent accounting, knowledge of the Accounting Act, and strong Excel skills. Polish fluency is required; English is a plus. The role offers a competitive package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an independent accounting position (full accounting)
• Knowledge of the Accounting Act and tax regulations
• Knowledge of fixed assets and depreciation accounting
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Independence, accuracy and timeliness in work
• Willingness to learn new processes
• Strong communication skills, flexibility and good organization
• Polish fluency; English is a plus

Responsibilities

• Verify financial documents for formal and accounting accuracy
• Ensure compliance with fixed assets regulations and asset settlements
• Post invoices and other accounting documents (cost, investment, revenue)
• Post bank statements
• Settle employee business trips and expenses
• Prepare reports for GUS, NBP and Intrastat
• Ensure timely closing of accounting periods and assist in financial statements
• Participate in company audits
• Record and settle fixed assets and calculate depreciation

About Your Future Role

In this position, you will:

• Verification of financial documents for formal and accounting correctness
• Compliance with regulations regarding fixed assets and verification of the accuracy of their settlement
• Posting invoices and other accounting documents: cost, investment, and revenue-related
• Posting bank statements
• Settling employee business trips and other employee expenses
• Preparing reports for GUS, NBP, and Intrastat
• Ensuring proper and timely closing of accounting periods and participating in the preparation of financial statements
• Active participation in company audits
• Recording and settling fixed assets and calculating depreciation
