Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting in Poland is seeking a System Analyst to join the R&D team focused on 5G research and development. You will drive systems studies, collaborate with multinational teams in Poland, Sweden, and China, and contribute to feature specifications, simulations, and IP development.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in communications theory and DSP, deep knowledge of 5G, and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing.
• Good knowledge of 5G specifications, especially in the areas of the L1, L2, Digital Signal Processing, Radio Resource Management.
• Analytical mindset, high capacity, result oriented and ability to deliver under pressure.
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, because of an English-speaking work environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and contribute to systems studies in 5G in Radio Resource Management (e.g., Scheduling, Link Adaptation, Beam Forming, Carrier Aggregation, Fast Cell Coordination) and the Radio Physical Layer.
• Work collaboratively on new features, simulations and improvements with cross-functional development teams.
• Contribute to advances in 5G Standards.
• Contribute to Innovation and IPR. File invention disclosures and patents.
• Support the deployment of new 5G products and features into customer networks. Understand customer configurations and issues.
