Job summary

Tieto in Poland invites a System Analyst to join an R&D team focused on 5G research, simulations, and analysis across Radio Resource Management and the Physical Layer. The position offers options for Wrocław, Szczecin, Poznań, Kraków, Warszawa or 100% remote work.

You will collaborate with a multinational team, drive studies, develop link-level and network-level simulations, contribute to 5G standards, and support new product deployments in customer networks.

Qualifications

• Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing.
• Good knowledge of 5G specifications, especially in L2, DSP, and Radio Resource Management.
• Some experience in creating simulations in L2.
• Analytical mindset with ability to deliver under pressure.
• Excellent English skills for an English-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive systems studies in 5G in Radio Resource Management and the Radio Physical Layer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams on new features, simulations and improvements.
• Develop software simulations for performance analysis of 5G features and algorithms (link-level and network-level).
• Contribute to advances in 5G Standards.
• Contribute to Innovation and IPR; file invention disclosures and patents.
• Support deployment of new 5G products and features into customer networks.
