Tieto Deutschland GmbH in Poland seeks a System Analyst focusing on R&D for the telecommunication industry and 5G feature specifications. The role emphasizes research and analysis tasks within a multinational team across Poland, Sweden and China, with remote work options.

You will drive 5G studies (RRM, L1/L2, DSP) and collaborate on new features, simulations and standards, while contributing to IP and innovation efforts, and supporting deployment in customer networks.

• Analytical mindset, high capacity, result oriented and able to deliver under pressure.
• Excellent English, spoken and written, due to English-speaking work environment.
• Some experience in systems analysis or similar role in telecom area.

Responsibilities

• Drive and contribute to systems studies in 5G in Radio Resource Management and Radio Physical Layer.
• Collaborate on new features, simulations and improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to advances in 5G Standards.
• Support filing invention disclosures and patents (IPR).
• Assist deployment of new 5G products and features into customer networks.

Job description

This position is in Poland for R&D area for telecommunication industry. Main area of System Analyst responsibilities is focused on research and analysis tasks.

Wrocław/Szczecin/Poznań/Kraków/Warszawa or 100% home office work is possible!

Your team:

• is responsible for delivering new feature specifications and algorithms for 5G.
• uses machine learning and AI solutions.
• count around 35 people and is multinational. Some polish team-members are only English speaking.
• is divided into areas, so it means that team-members have their own specialization as a sub-team.
• works very closely with other teams located in Poland, Sweden and China.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Drive and contribute to systems studies in 5G in Radio Resource Management (eg Scheduling, Link Adaptation, Beam Forming, Carrier Aggregation, Fast Cell Coordination) and the Radio Physical Layer
• Work collaboratively on new features, simulations and improvements with cross-functional development teams.
• Contribute to advances in 5G Standards.
• Contribute to Innovation and IPR. File Invention disclosures and Patents.
• Support the deployment of new 5G products and features into customer networks. Understand customer configurations and issues.

We expect you have:

• Background in communications theory
• Knowledge of 5G specifications, especially in the areas of the L1 or L2, Digital Signal Processing, Radio Resource Management
• Analytical mindset, high capacity, result oriented and ability to deliver under pressure.
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, because of English-speaking work environment.

It's very useful if you have:

• Some experience in systems analysis or in a similar position in telecommunication area.
• Knowledge of programming languages like: C, C++, and/or Java
