A recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. The role involves planning and supervising inspections, evaluating material specifications, and developing Work Packages based on inspection findings. Candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an understanding of HSEQ standards. Competitive qualifications and experience are essential for this position.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Strong analytical skills for inspecting equipment.
Responsabilités
- Plan and supervise periodic inspections of equipment.
- Evaluate specifications of incoming materials through NDT.
- Participate in Turnaround planning and maintain inspection records.
- Develop detailed Work Packages based on inspection reports.
- Advise Projects teams on modifications and repairs.
Connaissances
Formation
- Plan, schedule, supervise periodic inspection of stationary equipment, analyze and comment on implications of findings highlighted by the Inspection Team and external inspection service providers.
- Evaluate and approve specifications of incoming materials for metallurgical content through conventional and advanced NDT.
- Participate in Turnaround planning, maintenance of an inspection database of Plant Turnaround activities, recording of major breakdowns and repairs, compilation and issuance of related reports.
- Develop and issue detailed Work Package to address issues highlighted in inspection reports based purely on technical considerations.
- Advise the Projects teams on integration issues, infrastructure modifications, and repair jobs.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 8 -10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
