• Address audit findings and implement corrective measures
• Ensure timely completion of processes within turnaround times
• Monitor credit portfolio, MIS, and timely submissions
• Train and develop the team to maintain high standards
• Perform other assignments as directed by supervisors

Reporting to:

Head - SME Risk - SME Risk and RMG HR & Administration Division

Educational /Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates having Masters degree and / or any other relevant certification(s) will

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of banking experience, out of which 07 years in Commercial and / or SME, either on the business and / or risk management side in a commercial bank

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

• Leadership & people management

• Knowledge of SBPs Prudential Regulations
• Understanding of different types of collaterals
• Knowledge of SME product program

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

• To exercise credit approval authority delegated from time to time to approve/ recommend proposals for approval. Processing will include SME credit proposals for both conventional and Islamic banking country wide. Analyze credit risk and assess obligors credit worthiness in conjunction with the collateral offered, and ensure compliance with Banks internal policies, procedures and SBP Prudential Regulations
• To review SME Product program both manual and digital processing of credit approvals
• To assist and support Head SME Risk with credit review, assessment, and monitoring
• To liaison with different stakeholders like business, CAD, audit etc., Head Office level to ensure smooth operations
• To ensure audit requirements and observations are addressed (both internal and external) and implement measures to minimize recurrence
• To ensure all processes are completed within the specified turnaround time
• To monitor the credit portfolio for early warnings, maintain portfolio MISs and ensure timely submission
• To train and develop the team maintaining high standards
• To perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor(s)
