Job summary

Codistan is seeking a skilled videographer to own video production from setup to delivery. You will operate professional cameras, manage lighting, and use stabilizers for brand shoots, social media content, and events.

You’ll collaborate on shot lists and storyboards with the creative team and may independently manage shoots. Footage will be organized for easy handover to post-production, while gear is cared for on set.

Job description

We’re Hiring: Videographer
Codistan is looking for a skilled Videographer who can take ownership of video production and confidently manage shoots from setup to execution. The ideal candidate should be technically strong with cameras, lighting, and production equipment, while also having a good creative eye for framing, composition, and visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities:
Handle professional camera operation for brand shoots, social media content, advertisements, interviews, events, and other video productions.
Independently manage complete shoot setups when required.
Set up and manage lighting based on the location, subject, and creative requirement.
Handle gimbals and other camera stabilization equipment confidently.
Understand camera settings, lenses, exposure, frame rates, focus, composition, and movement.
Work closely with the creative team to execute shot lists, storyboards, and visual references.
Direct basic on-set positioning, framing, and camera movements where required.
Ensure footage is properly captured, organized, and handed over to the post-production team.
Maintain and responsibly handle cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, gimbals, and other production gear.
Troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues during shoots.
Be comfortable working both in-studio and on-location.
