Job summary

TectSoft, a Lahore-based software company, seeks a Junior Videographer & Video Editor to capture and edit engaging content for social media and marketing. You’ll work on office events, company culture, and promotional videos, building visual stories with a creative eye and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities include shooting, editing for multiple platforms, adding music and effects, and delivering content that aligns with brand guidelines. A portfolio and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in videography and video editing.
• A portfolio or sample videos showcasing your work.
• Basic knowledge of camera handling, framing, and composition.
• Familiarity with lighting and audio recording.
• Good video editing and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, or YouTube content.
• Basic knowledge of transitions, effects, subtitles, and sound editing.
• Creativity and an eye for detail.
• Willingness to learn new tools and improve skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Our creative, design, and engineering teams work closely to build polished digital products and engaging visual content. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Videographer & Video Editor who can capture high-quality video footage and transform it into compelling visual content for social media, marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and product promotions.

THE ROLE

As a Junior Videographer & Video Editor, you will help capture and edit videos for TectSoft's social media, office activities, company culture, and marketing needs. You should have a basic understanding of videography and video editing, a creative eye, and an interest in creating engaging content.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Shoot videos for social media, company activities, and promotional content.
• Record office events, team activities, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Edit videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

• Experience shooting videos with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or smartphone.
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator.
