Codistan is looking for a hands‑on Lead Video Editor who can combine strong editing skills with creative thinking and modern AI‑powered content production.

This is not just an editing role. We’re looking for someone who can lead execution, think creatively, develop content ideas, and adapt across traditional editing, mobile‑first content, and AI‑generated visuals. Key Responsibilities:
Lead video editing and post‑production for social media, digital campaigns, brand content, and advertisements.
Work primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Handle basic CapCut editing when required for fast‑paced or platform‑specific content.
Create engaging short‑form and long‑form video content for multiple platforms.
Develop creative concepts, ad ideas, hooks, visual treatments, and content formats.
Use AI generation tools such as Higgsfield and Google Flow as part of the creative and production process.
Stay updated with emerging AI video, image, and content‑generation workflows.
Shoot and create quality content using mobile cameras when required.
Understand framing, lighting, pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, and visual hierarchy.
Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to turn briefs into strong final content.
Guide junior editors where required and maintain quality control across output.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Strong working knowledge of After Effects.
Comfortable using CapCut for basic and quick‑turnaround edits.
Practical experience with AI content‑generation tools, especially Higgsfield and Google Flow.
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual creativity.
Ability to independently come up with creative ideas for ads and social media content.
Comfortable creating content using both professional footage and mobile‑camera footage.
Good understanding of current social media formats, trends, reels, short‑form ads, and platform‑specific content.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong portfolio demonstrating editing, motion graphics, social media content, and creative execution.
The ideal candidate should be someone who does not only wait for footage and instructions, but can actively contribute ideas, identify what will make the content perform better, and take ownership from concept to final edit.
