Codistan is hiring junior Video Editors to join our creative team in Islamabad for on-site, full-time roles. You will edit social content across reels, campaigns, and ads, primarily using Premiere Pro and CapCut, with basic After Effects and AI-assisted tools.

You should bring about 1 year of editing experience, a good sense of pacing and storytelling, and a proactive attitude to learn and contribute ideas. This on-site role offers opportunities to grow with a dynamic digital media team.

Qualifications

• Around 1 year of relevant video editing experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects.
• Comfortable using CapCut for quick-turnaround edits.
• Basic understanding of AI-based image and video generation tools.
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and social media editing styles.
• Willingness to learn and contribute ideas.

Responsibilities

• Edit videos for social media, digital campaigns, brand content, advertisements, reels, and other short-form content.
• Work primarily with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Use After Effects for basic motion graphics, animations, text treatments, and visual effects.
• Use CapCut for quick-turnaround and platform-specific edits when required.
• Assist in creating engaging content for different social media platforms.
• Work with mobile-shot footage and assist with basic mobile content creation when required.
• Use AI content-generation tools as part of the workflow.
• Add music, sound effects, transitions, subtitles, basic colour correction, and finishing elements.
• Follow briefs while contributing ideas to improve final content.
• Collaborate with senior editors, creative and marketing teams.
• Manage assigned projects and meet deadlines.

We’re Hiring: Video Editors

Codistan is hiring multiple Video Editors to join our creative team. We’re looking for junior-level editors who have a good foundation in video editing, are willing to learn quickly, and are comfortable working across traditional editing, mobile-first content, and AI-assisted content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit videos for social media, digital campaigns, brand content, advertisements, reels, and other short-form content.
• Work primarily with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Use After Effects for basic motion graphics, animations, text treatments, and visual effects.
• Use CapCut for quick-turnaround and platform-specific edits when required.
• Assist in creating engaging content for different social media platforms.
• Work with mobile-shot footage and assist with basic mobile content creation when required.
• Use AI content-generation tools such as Higgsfield, Google Flow, and other emerging AI tools as part of the creative workflow.
• Add music, sound effects, transitions, subtitles, basic colour correction, and other finishing elements to videos.
• Follow creative briefs while also contributing ideas to improve the final content.
• Work closely with senior editors, the creative team, and marketing team.
• Manage assigned projects and meet agreed deadlines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong willingness to learn and improve.
