Job summary

GSK is seeking an Utilities Officer in Pakistan to lead the operation and maintenance of critical utility systems within a regulated manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient site performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement across energy, water management, and sustainability initiatives. Experience in pharma settings is valued.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in utility maintenance or facility operations.
• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with EHS standards and compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate timely resolution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of utility systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, water treatment).
• Ensure timely maintenance and repair of utility equipment to support safe site operations.
• Manage spare parts availability and maintain maintenance records.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support sustainability initiatives, including energy and water conservation.
