Job summary

Rafhanmaize is seeking a Boiler Engineer to lead shifts in the Co-gen and Utilities department in Pakistan. You will oversee boiler operation, turbine house, water treatment, and associated systems to meet safety and performance KPIs.

Ideal candidates bring a 1st Class Boiler Certificate, hands-on coal-fired boiler and water-softening experience, basic computer skills, and strong communication. SAP exposure and good English are desirable.

Qualifications

1st Class Boiler Competency Certificate.
Experience operating and troubleshooting of coal fired boiler (CFB) and water softening plant.
Basic computer knowledge.
Good communication skills.
Experience with SAP is advantageous.
Professional level English language skill is desirable.

Responsibilities

Overall operation of Boilers at Co-gen and Utilities department.
Operate Turbine House, Cooling Tower, Coal Crusher & Conveying, Lime crushing and conveying, ash handling, Water treatment, compressed air, LPG / SNG & raw water systems.
Ensure proper working of tube wells for groundwater supply.
Ensure efficient operation of wastewater treatment and NEQS compliance of effluent water discharge from WWTP.
Maintain logbooks, daily reports, SAP notifications, production data, consumption data, issuance from store.
Check the quality of boiler feed water, boiler blowdown, process water and condensate return during shift.
Ensure proper functioning of canal water settling system.
Control loss due to leakage of steam, water, gas, air, condensate at all process plants.
Close valve in case of major leakage of steam, condensate, water, gas, furnace oil, air.
Meet targets assigned as KPIs by management.
Ensure proper working of safety devices, compliance of PPEs and environmental policies & PEQs.
