Job summary

Al Hamd Textile is seeking an Assistant Manager - Utilities to support reliable utility operations and uninterrupted production at its Karachi facility.

You will oversee boiler, chiller, compressor, generator, and other plant utility systems, plan preventive maintenance, monitor energy use, and coordinate with production and other departments while maintaining safety, records, and spare parts availability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of boiler, chillers, compressors, generators, air and water utilities.
• Experience planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance in a factory environment.
• Ability to monitor energy use and identify practical efficiency improvements.
• Team coordination skills including assigning work and following up on execution.
• Record-keeping and reporting with attention to safety and operational compliance.
• Ability to coordinate utility support with production and other departments.
• Spare-parts and consumables availability coordination.
• Commitment to safe, clean, and organized work areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee boiler, chiller, compressor, generator, air, water, and other plant utility systems.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance to keep utility equipment operating reliably.
• Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Manage the utility team, assign work, and ensure tasks are carried out properly.

• Ensure the availability of spare parts and consumables for utility systems.
