Job summary

Oxiliry is seeking an IT Support Specialist in Hyderabad to provide hands-on and remote assistance for end users, desktop systems, and network equipment. You will handle tickets, maintain assets, and participate in cybersecurity and analytics tasks to support US clients.

The role requires knowledge of networks, DVR/NVR/camera systems, and strong communication skills, with a willingness to work US shift timings and collaborate in a team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/ IT/ Telecom (4 years).
• Willingness to work US shifts and early shifts when required.
• Strong knowledge of networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of DVR/NVR and Analog/IP cameras.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Interest in AI prompt engineering and automation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users physically and remotely.
• Respond to and resolve IT helpdesk tickets related to hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Organize, monitor, and maintain IT assets and resources.
• Assist in IT operations including cybersecurity practices, analytics tasks, data center activities and maintaining IT inventory.
• Support and participate in calls with US-based clients.
• Ensure system security through access controls, backups, and regular software updates.
• Ensure timely issue resolution and elevate complex problems when necessary.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist Technician in US Remote site to install DVR/NVR, analog/IP cameras and their configurations.
