Job summary

HRSI is seeking an Import–Export Banking Officer to support a leading client in Lahore. You will handle LCs, import/export documentation, and coordinate with banks on payments, ensuring SBP compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in trade finance, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with international trade procedures. Banking operations experience is preferred. Based in Lahore with potential on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Trade Finance department of a bank (Mandatory).
• Strong understanding of LC documentation & international trade procedures.
• Familiar with SBP regulations & export documentation.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel & documentation handling.
• Preference will be given to candidates from commercial banking trade operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage import & export documentation (BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Form-E, etc.).
• Coordinate with banks regarding CAD, DA, DP, TT payments.
• Process export proceeds realization & bank reporting.
• Liaise with shipping lines, clearing agents & freight forwarders.
• Ensure compliance with SBP & regulatory requirements.
• Manage bank limits, margins & document discrepancies.
• Maintain record of transactions and follow up on maturity dates.
• Assist finance department in reconciliation & reporting.
