Detailed Job Description

As a Telecom Data Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on network operations and telecom infrastructure performance. You will work closely with operations teams, field engineers, vendors, and customers to ensure operational issues are identified, prioritized, and resolved within defined service levels. The role requires expertise in telecom site infrastructure, including diesel generators, battery systems, Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS), VSWR analysis, and network availability monitoring. You will leverage advanced Excel capabilities, reporting tools, and AI-powered technologies to improve operational visibility, automate analysis, and support decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze telecom network performance, site availability, and operational KPIs.
• Perform detailed analysis of telecom infrastructure data, including DGs, batteries, RMS, and power systems.
• Track network uptime, outages, and service-impacting events while identifying performance trends.
• Analyze critical alarms, prioritize incidents, and coordinate resolution activities within SLA targets.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Develop advanced Excel-based analytical models and reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of telecom site infrastructure, including Diesel Generators (DGs), battery systems, RMS, and power equipment.
• Knowledge of VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) analysis and telecom site health monitoring.
• Understanding of network availability, site uptime, outages, and service performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of telecom alarm management, incident prioritization, and SLA-driven operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, conditional logic, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive reporting and operational presentations.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in analytics, reporting, automation, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and ensure timely issue resolution.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in Telecom Managed Services, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), or Network Operations Centers (NOC).
• Hands-on experience with telecom site operations and preventive maintenance activities.
