Job summary

Motive is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to empower our Global Technical Support team. This leadership role focuses on coaching, knowledge transfer, and scalable troubleshooting, enabling TSEs to resolve issues efficiently and independently.

You will develop coaching plans, create documentation, and partner with Backline to close knowledge gaps, while maintaining high standards for technical credibility and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience at Technical Lead or equivalent senior technical support level.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, hardware, fleet, logistics, or asset-management platforms.
• Ability to coach technical professionals and explain complex product behavior clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist TSEs with complex or unfamiliar issues and guide next steps.
• Review investigations and provide actionable coaching on framing, hypothesis, evidence, and documentation.
• Build and improve TSE knowledge of products, workflows, and common failure modes.
• Model structured troubleshooting and teach TSEs how to move from symptoms to evidence-based conclusions.
• Help TSEs become self-sufficient by guiding investigations rather than owning every issue.
