Job summary

Motive is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer to join our Global Technical Support organization as an enablement expert for TSEs. The TL will coach, troubleshoot, and document best practices to empower TSEs and improve investigation quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with Backline and other TLs across regions to lift overall capability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years at Technical Lead or senior technical support level.
• Experience with Motive or similar SaaS/hardware platforms.
• Ability to coach technical professionals and explain complex product behavior clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist TSEs with complex or unfamiliar issues and next steps.
• Coach on issue framing, hypothesis development, evidence gathering, testing, documentation.
• Build and improve TSE knowledge of product, workflows, hardware, integrations and failures.
• Model structured troubleshooting and teach evidence-based conclusions.
• Guide TSEs to be more self-sufficient and define clear escalation criteria.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, KB articles, queries and scripts.
