Job summary

JazzWorld in Islamabad seeks a Team Lead Field Operations to oversee end-to-end site operations within the Micro Business Unit. You will coordinate across O&M, vendors, Sales and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain network performance.

You will manage preventive/corrective maintenance, monitor KPIs for 2G/3G/4G, and drive timely resolution of customer concerns. The role requires leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Telecom Operations & Maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Strong technical expertise in BSS, Transmission and Power systems and knowledge of 2G/3G/4G KPIs.
• Hands-on experience with Ericsson Transmission equipment and exposure to Ericsson/ZTE equipment.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Customer-centric approach to network issue resolution.

As Team Lead Field Operations, you will oversee the end-to-end operations of telecom sites within your assigned Micro Business Unit (MBU), ensuring contractual obligations, customer complaints, network performance and site profitability targets are effectively managed.

You will work closely with Operations & Maintenance teams, vendors, Sales and other internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and maintain network performance.

What you’ll own

• Monitor MBU performance and operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.


• Provide hands-on troubleshooting across BSS, Transmission (TXN) and Power systems.


• Monitor 2G/3G/4G KPIs, including DCR, CSSR and TCH Blocking, and drive actions to meet targets.


• Conduct regular audits and quality checks across BSS, TXN and Power domains.


• Coordinate with Sales for prompt resolution of customer complaints.


• Follow up with O&M teams and vendors on Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Telco and Non-Telco elements.


• Assign tasks to teams and ensure timely execution of operational and project requirements.


• Coordinate with NOC, RFO, Planning, Logistics, Deployment, Warehouse and other teams to resolve cross-functional issues.


• Process vendor invoices and ATPs within defined timelines.


• Prepare operational and performance reports for Management.


• Coordinate with OMOs and vendors for issue resolution at infrastructure-sharing sites.

What success looks like

• MBU sites consistently meet network performance and operational targets.


• BSS, TXN and Power issues are identified and resolved within required timelines.


• 2G/3G/4G KPIs remain within agreed targets.


• Customer complaints and cross-functional issues are resolved promptly.


• PM and CM activities are completed effectively across the MBU.


• Vendor, audit, ATP and reporting requirements are completed within timelines.

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Bring 5+ years of experience in Telecom Operations & Maintenance.


• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
